Parish Meeting

Due  to its size, Lolworth has a Parish Meeting rather than a Parish Council. There are typically two meetings a year, one in April where a Chairman and Vice-Chairman are elected and one in November where a major agenda item is the setting of  the precept for the following year.

The gavel, shown below, was given to the village by Mrs Moore in memory of her late husband,  Dr Bill Moore.

There is a Planning Subcommittee which meets to consider planning applications. Meetings are open to the public and are advertised on the village notice board and on this website. Plans can be viewed at the South Cambs web site (
