Wild Flower Meadow

A 1.25 acre wild flower meadow was cultivated from redundant allotments in 2001 to provide a haven for wild life. The cost of the seed was funded by a grant of £250 from the Village Life Fund and the remaining £155 was provided by a private donation. The effort of many volunteers was rewarded by gaining a highly commended award by Natural Heritage in 2005.
